International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as UK adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum.
How long we keep data
We keep account, company and quote data for as long as your account is active, and for up to 12 months after closure so you can reopen or export it. Financial and tax records are kept for as long as UK law requires (normally six years). Technical logs are kept for a shorter period, typically up to 12 months. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@scaffquote.co.uk; we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, row-level database permissions so accounts can only reach their own records, and private storage for uploaded logos.
Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to run the checkout. We use privacy-friendly analytics that do not set tracking cookies or build cross-site profiles. We do not run advertising or marketing cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though essential cookies are needed for sign-in to work.
